| Every child has the right to
be able to smile and to have dreams
and wishes about his future
without worry about horrific
things that children of victims
are exposed too. Instead, they
have the right to have a smile
and to dream as anybody else
despite and whatever its origin.
Children who are victims of wars have not
the luxury to chosen about what
our children give for grant in our
so called civilized west
society. Well, I have been in
war's zones, during civil war in
the 90s in Bosnia and Herzegovina
which at time was all one
country called Yugoslavia, then,
as we saw in many occasion, for
some reasons people decided to
be tired to keeping carry on
their ordinary life and civil
wars starting with consequences
that, I do strongly believe, these
days we all are aware of what
are those consequences. Also, I
have been in Somalia, in 1993,
in Mogadishu to see a young,
kind and beautiful promising
great journalist fail under the
fire of a gang that was classify
by the police and her own
government as a tragic robbery
went wrong but many tassel does
not much at all, I was there, in
my own business and I still,
these days after about four
decades still cannot sleep in
the night due PTSD (Post
Traumatic Stress Disorder). Her
name was Ilaria Alpi and she was
after something that she
shouldn't and she gone but I do
want remember her because she
was loved in any war zone of the
world she was flight too for her
job as a reporter and
Investigative Journalist, young,
ambitious and in love with her
job but before all, she was in
love with the local population,
which were suffering and in
particular, I saw her sometimes
cry away from the camera because
she was heart broken by see the children
victims of wars, the same I saw
myself and I can promise you, it
is not a nice thing to look at
due the unfair sufferance
children have to go through
because the adults like play war
games doesn't matter what's
right and who is wrong one thing
is for show that all that
madness of weapons and easy
global continuously conflicts
aren't fair for those children
that have born on the wrong side
of the moon.
Let's
express our reluctance against
any form of violence and war by
organizing a chain of aid for
those children that are
suffering for thoughts not of
their own and starting to do
something to helping children
who are victims of war and
let's make sure that those
children can have dreams and a
future like, and not less then,
our own children! |
